Data & Transparency
Methodology
The definitive public record of Ibiza ticket pricing. No user submissions, no assumptions. Only cryptographically transparent data sourced directly from the global event registry.
1. Data Provenance & The WeNowGo Graph
IbizaPrices is built entirely on the WeNowGo Event Graph. Every single data point—from the highest tier entry price to the exact date of a price surge—is actively pulled from the WeNowGo live cluster.
By avoiding user-submitted data or manual scraping, we eliminate biases and delays. If an event promoter updates their price, we track the delta almost instantly across our TicketTiers snapshots.
2. The "Surge" Calculation (Price Delta)
When you look at the Worst Offenders board or the Live Price Feed, you will see a Surge/Delta field along with red indicators.
This delta is defined mathematically as the Current Lowest Available Price subtracted by the All-Time Lowest Recorded Price for that specific event. For instance, if Early Bird launched at €30, and the First Release is now €45, that represents a €15 Surge (a +50% increase), regardless of how many other hidden tiers exist between them.
3. Booking & Hidden Fees
[PENDING 2026 INGESTION UPGRADE]
Currently, prices represent face value as officially published by the venue. During the 2026 season rollout, the WeNowGo extraction pipeline will begin exposing discrete platform booking fees, allowing IbizaPrices to decouple Face Value from final checkout reality.
Data Certification
IbizaPrices is committed to absolute transparency in the electronic music ticketing sector. We do not sell tickets natively, and we do not alter or "smooth" the pricing data we ingest. If a surge occurs, it is permanently logged in our matrix.
